veheim besoichom.
May we see the geulah shleimah bekarov, vehokitzu veranenu shochnei ofor vehem besochom
A few vignettes:
When he would come to Cape Town on a mission for the yeshiva, he would spend long hours with me walking along the beach front recounting stories, as only he could, of the Baal Shem Tov and many other tzadikkim. It was one of the greatest gifts he could have given - the gift of time...
He would usually bring the same gift, a little pen-shaped flashlight. Oh how I would treasure that! The lesson: The smallest gesture, if done sincerely, has a great impact.
I would love to be at his Shabbos table. He was molei v'godush, a veritable fount of chassidus and divrei yemei chassidim.
We have lost a treasure.
To the whole family: Hamokom yenacheim eschem b'soich shaar aveilei tsion virusholayim.
