Israelis to Visit Rebbe's Ohel
In preparation for 3 Tammuz, a special event is scheduled to take place at the Ohel this Sunday tailored for Israeli expats and Hebrew-speakers.
In preparation for 3 Tammuz, a special event is scheduled to take place at the Ohel this Sunday the 27th of Sivan (June 17th), tailored for Israeli expats and Hebrew-speakers.
The idea came up during the last Kinus HaShluchim, when a group of shluchim to Chabad Israeli Centers sat together and discussed the importance of bringing their baalei batim to the Rebbe. The shluchim, in conjunction with CIC, a division of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch’s Suite 302, have put together a beautiful program.
Participants will join hundreds of other Israelis from around the country, with groups coming from Florida, Maryland, Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey and more. The program includes opportunities to learn more about the Rebbe and Gimel Tamuz, write a letter to the Rebbe, and go into the Ohel, followed by a buffet dinner and special program.
Special guest speakers will be featured: Mr. Yisrael Katzover, veteran journalists for the Hamodia and former editor for Kol Israel Radio, will speak about his relationship with the Rebbe. and Mr. Moshe Levy, an IDF vet and war hero, will discuss his fascinating life-changing yechidus with the Rebbe. Additionally, Rabbi Zushe Wolf, director of Jewish Educational Media in Israel, will speak about the Rebbe’s far-reaching impact and global leadership.
Shluchim are encouraged to take part in this great opportunity to bring their baaalei batim to the Rebbe. RSVP by Thursday as space is limited.
Special thanks to David Scharf of DS Productions (producer of the Kinus banquet) and to the dedicated CIC shluchim and Kvutza bochurim from 770 for making this program possible.
