In a spirit of Ahavas Yisrael and appreciation for the mivtzoim the Rebbe urged all Jews to engage in, especially during times of war, Aish Hatorah’s website is encouraging its visitors to resolve to do a mitzvah in order to help Israel’s soldiers at battle.
Shortly after the Gaza battle began, Lubavitch’s central website, Chabad.org, launched a joint initiative with the Chabad Youth Organization of Israel delivering personal letters from well-wishers from around the world to the IDF troops in Gaza, including the suggestions of doing mitzvos in their honor.
Evidently the editors of Aish.com were impressed with the idea.
A couple of days later they copied the initiative — and even the page itself. The entire page, exactly as it appeared on Chabad.org, now appears on Aish’s site. All the language, every suggestion, even the source code (which can be seen when one presses “View Source” on your browser). Among these are the suggestions to “encourage others to wrap tefillin,” and another is to “encourage others to light Shabbat candles.”
I feel very bad for you #15. Your tunnelvision and coldness must leave you with an empty feeling when you are not able to look at the positive in a very unfortunate and scary situation.
I wonder which one of the 10 mivtzoyim is “write a letter to a soldier”. At last, chabad.org and the secularization movement of lubavitch was joined by thir true partners in spirit, Aish and the likes. When a campaign is liked by these kiruv organizations, it must be a sign that it is not in the ruach of lubavitch.
How low are we going to go?!

Who is being sarcastic? I don’t see any sarcasm in this news post.
Baruch Hashem
may many more jews do a mitzvah the merit of the soldiers. Unity is the only way ad thank G-d Aish.com aren’t to proud or stubburn to copy something that is good for the jewish people.
may moschiach come now
isn’t this exactly what the rebbe wanted?? So they don’t give the rebbe credit,,, that’s the next darga.
At least it’s for a mitzvah. For all the cries of leniency for Madoff or Rubashkin…! Give me a break. Is this worth posting over?
Moshiac Now!
To see Aish following Chabad!
Look in the code of the iframe and you will see class=”formfield” which only means something for chabad.org’s servers, but it means nothing for the aish servers.
