Over 5,000 at Largest Menorah
Over 5,000 attended the lighting of the eighth candle at the World's Largest Menorah at 59th Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan. Nine people assisted Rabbi Shmuel Butman of Lubavitch Youth Organization in the lighting, each lighting one. In attendance was R' Dovid Raskin, Chairman of LYO, whose grandchild lit one candle.
