What difference does it make how/for what reason they are royal?
The fact that they are means we should respect them – we which is what we learn from Judaism.

That wedding cost tax payers a truck load. And what did they get in return? A show? So the governments roll is to provide entertainment? Why are they royal? How are they different or better than a common man?
