They came from nearly 20 Chabad schools from around the world, including Australia, London, Montreal, Toronto, Pittsburgh and Chicago.
The annual Inter-School convention, held in connection with Chof Beis Shvat – the Rebbetzin’s yahrzeit, took place this past weekend in Crown Heights with an attendance of some 400 high school girls.
10th and 12th grade girls enjoyed a joint Friday night meal, Melava Malka and a grand banquet on Sunday evening at Campus Chomesh hosted by Bais Rivkah School of Crown Heights and coordinated by Naomi Touger and Shoshi Hecht.
A lineup of top speakers included author Malka Touger of Jerusalem, Shlucha Leah Namdar of Sweden, Shlucha Yehudis Bluming of North Carolina, author Rabbi Shais Taub and Rabbi Shmuel Rothman – Shliach in Pittsburgh, PA.
“The theme of this year’s convention is ‘We can, I must,'” Touger told COLlive.com before the convention. “Focusing on how each and every one of us has an obligation and the kochos to do our Shlichus.”

Was the best convention ever! I went to convention for 4 years straight – this years was so incredible- it was worth every dollar and time that we spent- we had great speakers and the food was great!! Thank you for giving me an awesome time in new York- I got to see friends and get inspired and came back home with so much kochos to do one more mitzvah and bring moshiach!!
