You obviously are avoiding the main point in Comment #20. You would be advised to read the letter from Rav Yoel Kahan and the other 2 Rabbonim very carefully and then you would see that the fact is that the psak is what is against the Shulchan Aruch – and therefore it is not to be listened to, as you yourself stated in your comment. Therefore, in essence you are agreeing to what it says in Comment #20 without even realizing it.

What are you talking about? Obviously it’s YOU who needs a l’chaim! What kind of talk is that about Rabbi Gerlitzky? Obviously somone who talks like that about a Talmid Chochom doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

February 2, 2011 11:58 am

Originally Rabbi Schwei moved out because shaalos and phone calls – people were asking and leaving messages – were not forwarded to him.
Can you imagine – a person leaving a shaalo for a Rav and it’s not passed on to him?

Who are YOU kidding?!

Hackner and Brownstein actually signed a contract with R’ Braun behind the back of Tamir and the clear orders from R’ Osdoba!!!

I don’t know why no one reported about this yet but it is a major scandal!

may we have more sholom in kan tzivah…!

Fooling
February 2, 2011 11:09 am

This is just fooling the people. Rabbi Schwei moved back just because the psak is asking for it. But Rabbi Osdoba refuses to accept the psak and refuses to talk to Rabbis Schwei and Braun. He ignores them. This has nothing to do with Zaki Tamir that still did not signed the contract give credit where credit is due kol hakavod Yossi and Fishel.

Dear Zaki

Even the simple act like showing Smicha Rabbi Braun refuses to comply with. How is this man supposed to be a LEADER when he can’t compromise on the very basics.

You have a legal obligation to verify his credentials and you will will be held liable if you don’t!

#20 you need a life or a lechaim….BTW ask rabbi gerlitzky under which “impression” he signed the letter!

Lies again

Readers please ignore the hate filled comment of 17, as usual it’s exactly 180 degrees removed from the truth. Rabbi Schwei moved out at that time of his own desire to do so, and to capitalize on it, the enemies of a united BD concocted and circulated the above story. Now, they pose as lovers of peace and unity, at all costs………”Blood shall flow but peace there will be” a most quotable quote from who? But maybe someone CAN explain what happened to Rabbi Segal’s office and all his correspondence,Din Torah records and other documents on yom aidom, when poltorak… Read more »

shalom achshov?
February 2, 2011 5:35 am

shalom comes from a power that is higher than all parties involved, it is only the power of Torah that can unite, and be “oiseh sholom”.

However, here in Crown Heights, the very Shleimus of Torah is at stake- a fraudulent installation of a “Rov” who doesn’t have semicha..

Sholom cannot come from tampering with Shleimus haTorah any more than it can from tampering with Shleimus HaAretz.

Misleading
February 2, 2011 2:07 am

I think it’s hard to call it “unity” if it’s not as a result of any rapprochement, but only a fulfillment of a ruling by Rabbi Rosenberg.

Thanks to the Rabbonim

Thank you Rabbi Osdobo and Rabbi Shcwey.

Ya’arichu Yamim Al Mamlachtam.

keep up the good work
February 2, 2011 1:22 am

Zaki –

Great job! Keep up the good work.

we need to grow up and learn how to obey a psak din. we need to learn to get along with each other.

we are brothers!

great news!

This is a very positive 1st step. I hope an pray, that many more steps are taken – for the benefit of US ALL.

Did you ever hear the “story” of the priest who was driving Moshele crazy to convert, eventually he agreed. one Friday, the priest wanted to spy on him to make sure he was keeping the “rules” – not eating chicken on Friday. lo-and-behold, he catches Moshele eating chicken at the sabbos table. the priest burst in and demands why he is violating the “halacha”. Moshele replied, I learned form you: I sprinkled “holy water” on the chicken and turned it into fish….. Do you honestly believe that if you repeat 1000 times that he does not have semicha – this… Read more »

“real” lubavithcers follow the instructions of the Rebbe and the Shulchan Aruch! When there is a Psak Din from a Beis Din of a Zablo, an ehliche, poshute, yid follows the Psak to the T – regardless if it makes him happy or not.

(the Rebbe stated publicly, MANY times, that if one says something in the Rebbe’s name which is inconsistent with the Shulchan Aruch, you should know that it is 1000% false!)

By the way, did you respect the Badatz 10-15 years ago? did the authors of the “document” you refer to respect them?

I'm very excited
February 2, 2011 12:50 am

Kol Hakavod! This is truly a great new beginning.

Let’s not be fooled – the is lots of work cut out for the community, but this is certainly a very positive step in the right direction.

May we go ‘michayil el choyil’ as a UNITED community, with much more ‘Ahavas Yisroel’.

Let’s forget the past and try to work towards a better future for all of us. for our children. for the Rebbe.

this is very positive

Meaningless
February 1, 2011 11:16 pm

The photos of the two doors of Rabbi Osdoba and Rabbi Schwei in the same office are meaningless. There is no Beis Din yet, because there is no third Rav. There has not yet been any answer to the document written by Rav Yoel Kahan, Rav Avrohom Gerlitzky and Rav Berel Levin, which is a document that is the absolute truth, through and through. With no proper answers to their points and questions, the election was never valid and there is no third Rav for the Beis Din. New elections need to be called for immediately. This whole charade of… Read more »

Rabbi Schwei was thrown out of the Badat”z offices by Rubashkin, who changed the locks overnight with Rabbi Osdoba’s approval.
I hope this is the beginning of a new era of Sholom.

No. 6
There will never be a united Beis Din Crown heights until there is a third Rov.
Not a person who tried to cheat his way in.
This charade will come to an end, the only question how much more pain must we the residents of Crown Heights suffer in the interim.
No smicha – no rabonus.

We have salaries to pay. I think its a fantastic move in the right direction financially. More importantly, it sends a strong message to the members of our community, that the leadership is taking the steps necessary to guide their flock effectively.

Kudos to Zaki Tamir for your efforts

We know that the entire world is a reflection of what happens in Crown Heights.

B”H our Rabbaim are sitting and working together in shalom and kovod.

NOW is the time for everyone to get past their past and move on to the ONLY future: MOSHIACH NOW!!! We must all unite in kovod and ahava and haShem will see us as all of his children working and living together as one so haShem will be one with us
