All the speakers were amazing and speaking from their hearts – the former US attorney Mr Brett Tolman gave a powerful heartfelt sppech – it was a very encouraging evening – B’ezras Hashem through the Koach of Unity and Tefilla and Tzedoka we will sing Didan Notzach very soon!

Theses rallies bring money in so that the defense can eventually be effective to get him out
more than a ‘litttle’ money is donated (hopefully and probably) -which is a huge help, tehilim said all together like that is def more pawerful than doing it yourself, it also shows teh government how many people are against their decision, and officials and high people will want to actualy DO something about it (i mean they want us to like and appreciate them for reelection-toatlty serious)
And what did you do tonight to help “the poor guy” get out of jail.
Maybe one or two of the many people who cared to show up will get umpressed from how many people care and actualy do something.

The point of all of these rallies are many. First, the money coming in from the rallies go towards help in paying the appeal process which is very expensive. Second, to invoke rachmei shomayim, if in shomayim they see how much we are concerned for another Yid together with our achdus, tehillim and pidyon shvuim, we’ll be merited with receiving the siyato d’ishmayo we so badly need. Also, when the people with political power, see how united we are regarding SMB’s unfair sentence they will go the extra mile and do their part to raise this issue to the forefront.… Read more »

that is what it accomplishes achdus, tehillim and money to help with the appeal so hopefully at the end of the day he should NOT be in jail!!
i feel so bad about him but i KNOW that he will be freed, While i am typing i am still listening. It is indescribable. I have tears coming down my cheeks i feel so bad i wish i had money to give him. This guy is saying amazing stories of him emptying his store for some people! I am amazed. What can i say? He has an amazing soul that should NOT be trapped in a 2 square feet jail.
Ok so everyone gets together, the achdus is beautiful, the tehillim is powerful, maybe some money is donated for the worthy cause, but what do these rallies really accomplish?
at the end of the day the poor guy is still in jail.
why when they 1st put up the poster of where u could give $$ 2 there was in Israel Bklyn, Lakewood, NJ, Detroit, Miami, but there was nothing in Los Angeles. Y is everything on the east coast ?
