Crown Heights notorious car thief Terrance Nelson, who has been breaking into cars for many years and locked up many times, has been arrested by the 71 Precinct of the New York Police Department Saturday evening.
At approximately 9:30 pm, Nelson was apprehended by police after responding to a 911 call that they witnessed an individual breaking into a car on Maple Street and Brooklyn Avenue.
Cops caught Nelson as he was attempting to get away with a GPS navigation system and a Louis Vitton handbag.
Nelson is a known thief in the Brooklyn neighborhood, and has been locked up numerous times.
Each time he completes his sentence he returns to the streets.
People connected to the Police Department have expressed frustration with Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes over the fact that Nelson is back on the streets time and time again.
“The police can work hard and do their job, but if the law does not keep him locked up, we will never see results in our neighborhood and on our streets,” a community activist involved in security told COLlive.
The authorities like crime.
If the authorities (Govt.) really hated the evil of crime and the pain and suffering it causes, they would destroy it..
The govt. was angry at the Japanese: Hiroshima, Nagasaki (Also to save American lives), Iraq (Hussein), etc.
We need a revolution.
It’s the American thing to do.
this is mentel
Crown heights is the best kept crime secret in the world.
it was our car and thanks to a (NON-JEWISH) man who called the police for us, the only damage done is the window and doors being broken!!
thank g-d nothing major happened……
to #10, the gps was under a compartment that couldn’t be seen. and the bag was hidden, probably all cars have them so he knew where to look and i don’t know why he chose our car. thank you to a kind neighbor who let us borrow their car.
To comment 11 those are questions that only Hashem can answer…
Its mamesh crazy the tzaros that happen in crown Heights!
Hashem Yishmor….
Moshiach Now!
i dont know why us yidden have to suffer so much!!!
why would anyone think of leaving a louis veton bag in sight
get shmira to beat him up again
Why do they keep on letting him just go
Well at least the police caught him again
He doesn’t steal cars (probably can’t drive) he steals the stuff that people leave in plain sight.
Why are WE so stupid?? Who would leave a GPS & a pocket book (designer, no less!) in full view? I don’t even leave empty Kollel store bags in my car. An empty box is an invitation, the ganovim think there’s something in it.
I’ve said it before…ship him out to another State, like they do with trash. Without the GPS he won’t find his way back home.
I was there just after the police arrested the man. The car owner should thank the person who called 911. This Nelson is a menace to our community. The police did a good job and got the stolen items back for the car owner. nelson tried to run, but the officers got him.
I recognized one of the officers as the Jewish lieutenant that works at the precinct.
Broke into my rental car, stole the air bag and caused me hours and hours as a result.
I don’t think he steals cars – he is very low ante and just steals enough to get him back to jail for 90 days at a clip. Under a three strikes law he would be in for life which is what he needs and wants – but tell that to the lefties in Albany.
When we came into Ny last year our rental van was stolen with all our luggage, gps and everything..it was probably him…then he went to mcdonalds with our credit cards..
maybe zak tamir should hire him as a police liason
