he’s simply saying that the case and judgement was very dodgy and needs revising, and he then gave certain examples as to why…

I would like to thank Congressman Bill Delahunt for his direct and important letter and hope to see many more congressmen, senators, and governors express their distress and demand to have the matter investigated and G-d Willing, all charges dropped.

it’s the 3rd congressman, not 5th. Weiner, Murphy and now him. no one else actually wrote a letter. they may have promised to help but we don’t know that they did.

i am very happy to see Congressman Bill Delahunt standing up for S.M. Rubashkin. It is an honorable deed. However I really wonder if “the vast majority of cases defendents are afforded fair process,’ in this country. True, I don’t have the facts before me but I’ve heard of a few cases in which the defendant was not so lucky. I once worked for The City of NY and was fired illegally, denied a (Free) hearing and was fired after finishing probation. I went to court and the judge wanted to throw the case out, even though I was fired… Read more »

With all these letters being written by prominent congressmen and politicians has there been any movement to make amends for the terrible wrong that has been committed by the so called presiding judge yms”v? All the letters in the world won’t be worth the paper they are written on if nothing is acheived. SM Rubashkin is still incarcerated and treated worse than criminals of much lesser crimes. The first appropriate step would be is to put that judge in his situation and let her be deprived of the freedom she so readily and anti semitically meted out to SMR. Hell… Read more »
