Farkash Makes it to Nasdaq
Businessman Dudi Farkash was at the Nasdaq stock exchange for a farewell party for Mr. Zvi Chalamish, an Israeli economist. The Israeli Ministry of Finance held Tuesday a farewell party for Mr. Zvi Chalamish, Director General of the Israel Economy Division of North America, who completed his term.
The event, attended by some of New York's top finance executives, took place at the Nasdaq stock exchange in New York City.
Businessman Dudi Farkash, a Crown Heights resident and representative of the Brooklyn Financial Group, an insurance company, was invited to speak.
An acquaintance of Chalamish, Farkash wished him "the best of luck" in his future endeavors benefiting the State of Israel and its people.
"There were bankers, investors and government officials there," Farkash told COLlive.com. "They all saw that among them was a frum Lubavitch face and saw it as a Kiddush Hashem."
