Message from Rabbi Avrohom Lieder of Ahavas Chesed:
2 men from our shchuna, a father of 3 and a father of 7, are suffering from kidney failure R”L each desperately needs a KIDNEY from a Blood Type A or O donor.
Both cases are Pikuah Nefesh.
Donating is 100% Kosher!
These men, their wives & 10 children are counting on you!
3 members of Anash already donated a kidney and are zoche to have saved a life. They encourage you to do the same.

I am a healthy 45 year old male with O- blood type. I recently went through the testing process and proved to be a suitable donor for another individual who was in need of a kidney, unfortunately the recipient passed away before the surgery could be completed. I am available to donate a kidney if the recipient can reimburse me for travel (I live in Southern California), lodging, meals and all lost wages associated with the transplant process. Please feel free to contact me via return email if you are interested.
My father has a B+ blood. He’s kidney functioning only 20%.
He has been diagnosed with kidney filer for 6 years and he is doing dialysis 3 times a week. If any one willing to donate a kidney please contact me at [email protected]
Thank you.
I saw the thread and was touched by how many people are willing to donate their kidneys. My kidneys are at 20% and I am looking for a donor. I am an Israeli in the US with type O blood. Any willing donors out there?
Chaya Lipschutz isn’t pushy either. She always gives those who are considering kidney donation the option to back out.
I have a You Tube video with information on kidney donation.

I have had numerous people in Israel contact me that desperately need a kidney including the wife of a Rabbi with a very large family, youngest only 18 months old. This woman is on dialysis 3 days a week, hooked up to a machine for over 3 hours each time. This is very urgent! If you are in Israel, in good health and blood type A or O, you can save her life! I have made a number of matches in Israel, Boruch Hashem, and I can put you in touch with the donors of those matches in Israel as… Read more »
The youngst age to donate is 18 years old – but not all hospitals will take someone that young.
I see that I’m one of many that donatet my kidney with Renewal. They really are great, taking care of me from the first call till after surgery. They msade sure that i recuperated and took care of my husband and kids also.
I also donated my kidney through Renewal. It was a most amazing experience. They were absolutely wonderful; came with me to all of my appointments, they brought me to the hospital the day of surgery, and were there with my family members making sure that everything is taken care.
I know ther are others that are involved in helping people, but I highly doubt that they offer what Renewal does.
Menachem, KEEP IT UP!!
I donated my kidney through Renewal and they were wonderful and there for me every step of the way. If you are considering to donate a kidney- give them a call. Their number is 718-431-9831. They are not pushy at all- so even if you just want basic information, don’t worry that they will run after you. I am so happy to be here, knowing I saved someones life.
“There is no greater feeling than knowing you brought life to another human being. It has truly been an amazing experience that ranks right up there with the birth of my 9 children. If I could, I would do it again tomorrow.”

Blood type A + or – doesn’t make a difference
I donated a kidney in September 2005 to a stranger. Since my kidney donation I have been wanting to do more – so I now have a project to help others in need of a kidney. My brother donated a kidney as well – to someone on my list of people in need of a kidney. I am in touch with many people who have donated a kidney – all of us are doing great, Boruch Hashem, no one has regrets and some of us wish we can do it again! If you would like more information about kidney donation,… Read more »
someone should definetly donate a kidney, it is a way to give of yourself that is such an incredible mitzvah.
BUT we should know that our diets increase risk for kidney problems, by eating lots of concentrated foods. Our diet in the western part of the world really lends itself to that. Dr Rosen spoke a year or two back about health, maybe he covered it, I don’t remember.
A) you can’t live in fear. What if I’ll give tzedoko and then lose all my money then regret that I gave tzedoko now that I myself need tzedoko… You can’t live like that. B) G-D forbid if you lose your health (to cancer for example r”l), they would never accept your kidney, and you may regret not doing this mitzvah when you were in a position to do so. C) If you donate your kidney, you would forge great connections with the kidney matching organizations, and if you would approach them on behalf of a relative, they would be… Read more »
i am eager to help and would consider it buy i have one question: if i give away my kidney and (g.f.) someone in my family will need one in the future, i wont be able to give it to them.
perhaps the thinking is that the more people agree to give, the less they will have to worry about a family member having trouble finding a donor?
I donated a kidney +3yrs ago. Live outside NY area, anyone wants info about process or subsequent health, post here and will figure out a way to communicate
A+ or A-
I want to donate my kidney
I’m B+ so it wouldn’t help
I donated a kidney and feel 110% healthy. Kidney disease ALWAYS strikes both kidneys at once, so if one kidney goes bad, they both cease to function, so there is no such advantage to having both kidney incase one fails (that never happens, as I have said earlier).
Actually, once one donates a Kidney, the body adjusts and the second kidney expands to 100% function. Both Lubavitch Rabbonim I had consulted before donating, encouraged me to do so. Just make sure you have your spouse and children on board!
