Mrs. Chaya Bracha Pruss, a resident of Crown Heights and mother of a Lubavitch family, passed away Sunday, 28 Adar 5770.
She was 69.
She is survived by her husband R’ Shmarya Pruss and their children R’ Yitzchak Pruss – Crown Heights, Henya Greenberg of Los Angeles, CA, Zalman Pruss, Chani Vogel of Crown Heights and R’ Yona Pruss of London, UK.
The funeral will take place Monday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at 11:45am, and passing 770 Eastern Parkway at 12:30pm to the Old Montefiore cemetery in Queens.

when I came to CH in 1973, she met with me twice a week in her immaculate home (I remember her son Yonah as a young boy) going over sichas in Yiddish. Just the two of us.. I was so determined to learn that language and make up for lost time especially in the context of a sicha. She had such patience and encouragment as I sat there breaking my teeth.
