An unusual sight confronted visitors to the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Ohel grave site in the Old Montefiore cemetery in Cambria Heights, NY.
Rabbi Shmuel Lew – senior Chabad Shliach and educator in London, England – is turning seventy this Shabbos, Chof Adar.
He had expressed a wish that his entire family join him at the Ohel in honor of this important milestone.
His children were able to arrange this and at precisely 12:30pm on Friday, Rabbi Lew escorted by his wife and their children, children-in-law and grandchildren (close to 120 people) converged on the Ohel.
They said tehilim, sang a few niggunim, recited the 12 pesukim and gave tzedaka.
Rabbi and Mrs. Lew celebrated their daughter’s wedding on Wednesday night in Crown Heights.
how did he take a picture of me without me knowing :-[
