Rabbi Leibel Groner has received visitors at his home in Crown Heights during the Purim holiday following a medical procedure.
Captain John Cappello, acting Commanding Officer of the 71st Precinct of the New York Police Department, and Officer Wright came by Sunday.
They wished the secretary of the Rebbe a happy holiday and speedy recovery as he is recuperating from a “health issue” we’re told is now “Baruch Hashem stable.”
Rabbi Groner thanked them for the visit and for their work to protect the Brooklyn neighborhood – home to Lubavitch Headquarters and the largest centralized Chabad population in the world.
The rabbi showed the two an article about a miracle with the Lubavitcher Rebbe which was recently published in the Haredi English weekly Mishpacha.
Also in attendance were Vice Chairman of the Vaad Hakohol Chanina Sperlin and Eli Slavin, a confidant of Rabbi Groner.
May Hashem bless R.Groner with strong health and to greet Moshiach now with everyone you love, with all Jewish people, we love you and dovened for you.
Thank you Rabbi Groner for the times that I spoke to you, ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT. When we needed the Rebbes brocho, who were ther for us and for thousands of others, around the globe.
