The Andrusier family of California sought an original way to celebrate their son Chaim’s Bar Mitzvah.
When Rabbi Danny Cohen, Shliach in Chevron, suggested a celebration at Me’aras Hamachpela, they jumped at the opportunity.
Chaim’s family members joined shluchim and friends, as they celebrated together with soldiers from the Shimshon Bridage, currently stationed in Chevron.
The soldiers were delighted to participate, and enjoyed a grand barbeque dinner.
The Bar Mitzvah boy recited a Maamer and read the Rebbe’s letter.
