It took some courage for each student to get up in front of the entire grade and start playing music. But slowly, each boy built up the confidence to play, first the sound of the guitar was heard, then the beat started on the drums, and finally, the keyboard piped up to bring the entire band together.
The Lubavitcher Yeshiva of Crown Street’s 7th grade band debuted this past Motzei Shabbos at the grade’s very own dance night in honor of the highly auspicious days of Vov and Zayin Adar and celebrating 70 years of Tomchei Tmimim in America.
The boys, with the assistance of some older bochrim, danced into the night with the true joy of Adar.
