Chabad of Midtown Manhattan celebrated their 13th Bar Mitzvah year with a gala dinner in an upscale ballroom in Israel’s financial capital and cultural hub Tel Aviv.
The event was also a reunion for some of the thousands of Israeli visitors – businessmen and tourists – who spent unforgettable Shabbos services and meals at the 5th Avenue center.
“Many Israeli business people spend long stretches of time in Manhattan and consider us their “home away from home” for all practical purposes,” said Shliach Rabbi Yehoshua Metzger.
Metzger and his wife Brocha Chana Metzger were on hand at the Tel Aviv event, welcoming guests to the “Roof of the World,” the 49th floor of the Azrieli Tower overlooking Tel Aviv.
Following a Dvar Torah, the two thanked everyone for their warm welcome and year-long support.
A special musical program and video presentation were enjoyed by all.
May HaShem bless you to keep up the Rebbe’s work to inspire Yehudim to do Mitzvot.

I think it’s more a reflection of how Isreal is heading upward. Chabad of Midtown should also have a reunion with the thousands of French tourists that are hosted every summer.
