Abraham Friedman of Vacaville, CA, wrote this to the ‘Letters to the Editor’ section in The Reporter:
My wife and I would like to welcome Chabad of Solano County, a newcomer to Vacaville.
Chabad of Solano is part of a worldwide organization dedicated to education, community involvement, and increasing awareness about Judaism to the entire community.
Among other activities, Chabad of Solano recently conducted a Jewish Sabbath service in Vacaville. The service was traditional and brought back warm, tingly memories of my youth. At the service, there was a good turnout of Vacaville’s hidden Jewish population.
I look forward to the next event and wish Chabad of Solano much success in Vacaville.
