JNet, an organization which pairs working people with Torah teachers, is launching this week a phone-a-thon asking Crown Heights residents to volunteer their time or donate money.
For 5 years now, the division of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch has setup almost 2,000 people to learn once a week on the phone – making that over 25,000 sessions a year.
On Tuesday and Wednesday this week they will be calling Lubavitchers in Brooklyn and elsewhere to sponsor a match for $18 a month. Any and every donation will be entered in a raffle to win cash prizes of up to $10,000.
Crown Heights residents Aryeh Fuss, Yisroel Shimon Kalmenson, Mendy Dalfin, Tzirl Goldman, Rivkie Brownstein and Margula Roumani who have been volunteering their time have filmed a promo clip.

This is a great program and great video! I have learned so much from my ‘match’ in NY! Good luck on your phone-a-thon!
What about the real matches helping older Bachurim & Bachurot find their match !! Y can’t there be a program for that & not the BS Shadchanim that r in CH. Something like this that is very professional that could make something happen together with hashem’s help. If we had something like this we wouldn’t be in this world wide lubavitch Zivug crisis.

Very nice, a wonderful program by Merkos giving every person an opportunity to experience being a Shliach or Shlocha, I don’t think this program gets the right about of publicity.
It’s a beautiful program!
