Mrs. Nechama Wilansky , a long time and beloved resident of Crown Heights, passed away Tuesday, 1 Teves 5771.
She was born 1932 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to her parents Yaakov Mordechai and Toiba Gordon.
After marrying her husband, Rabbi Yehoshua Wilansky, they lived in Crown Heights where she worked for many years as a teacher in the Mosdos Day Care Center.
She is survived by her husband who is in need of a refuah shlaima (Yehoshua ben Sara ); their children, Mrs. Toby Halon of Crown Heights; Rabbis Yossi Wilansky of Montreal, Dovid Wilansky of Elizabeth, NJ, Moshe Wilansky, Portland, ME, and Chaim Wilansky of Crown Heights; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The levaya will be at 11:45 am in Shomrei Hadas, and will pass by 770 Eastern Parkway at 12:30.
The Wilansky family will be sitting shiva at 1555 Carroll St between Troy and Schenectady.

nechama willandky was such a wonderful cousin. when my brother and I told her we were going to shabbaton in crown height. she said why not stay with me this way you will not have to worry about not knowing anyone. she will surely be missed. baruch dayn emes.
