More than 35 Shluchim, including staff from Merkos, JLI and Chabad on Campus, joined hundreds of leaders of non-profit organizations in midtown Manhattan this past Thursday at the NextGen: Charity conference.
The conference on non-profit innovation was aimed at helping leaders run their organizations more effectively and efficiently, and connecting with donors and their community more powerfully.
It was organized by Ari Teman and Jonah Halper who are both close friends of Chabad.
Teman, a graduate of Brandies University and close friend of Shliach Rabbi Peretz Chein, was voted as the 2009 Community Jewish Hero by the Jewish Federation contest.
Halper, a fundraising and marketing consultant and congregant at Beis Menachem Chabad in Monsey, gave a fundraising workshop to over 200 at the recent International Kinus HaShluchim.
The conference featured world renowned inspirational speakers such as Seth Godin, Nancy Lublin, Scott Harrison, Sasha Dichter, Ami Dar, Jonathan Greenblatt and many others.
