Sarah Palin has dropped another hint of her intention to run for the White House in 2012, dispatching aides to scope out office space in Iowa, the first stop in the presidential race.
The “will she, won’t she?” speculation about Ms Palin in 2012 has become a Washington parlour game – as well as generating free publicity for her new book, which goes on sale this week.
In the course of making arrangements for that tour, two aides organising Ms Palin’s visit to Des Moines on November 27th told locals they were looking into office space and other logistical needs for the coming year.
The book itself was widely seen as a sign that Ms Palin was considering a run. She has said on a number of occasions that she is weighing up her prospects with her family. In an interview with ABC television, she even said she could beat Barack Obama.
Some of her staff now appear to be putting the pieces in place in case Ms Palin does decide to run.
One of the aides, who only eats kosher food, told a local rabbi he was looking into longer-term arrangements in Iowa.
“He was looking to be able to accommodate the needs of those coming down looking to set up shop here for campaigning in the coming years,” said Rabbi Yossi Jacobson of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in Des Moines.
Others in Des Moines suggested Ms Palin might be seeking a base from which to solidify her power within the Republican party, after successfully campaigning for a number of Tea Party candidates during the mid-term elections.
The Iowa caucuses are the first stop in the presidential primaries, and can make or break a run for the White House.

And yes, Huckabee might be the only “real” politician to openly oppose a palestinian state in israel, but otherwise he is a democrat.
If you think Palin is crazy, there’s something wrong with you, since she has never shown any signs of it. There is no conceivable information you, or #9, could have to call her either stupid or crazy; you simply hate her with a vicious sin’as chinom, and therefore project on to her all sorts of evil that lives in your bitter hearts.
#3, Huckabee may be good on Israel, but on most issues he may as well be a Democrat.
This woman is crazy. She hates EVERYBODY. Are shluchim seriously this desperate for media attention that they would affiliate with a head case like Sarah Palin?

She’s a nice lady and has the right policies but I don’t believe she is viewed as serious enough to beat Obama. What we need is a serious right winger like Jim Demint. He’s right on the issues and takes on left wing policies proposed by either party.

Unfortunately non-tzniusdik people stand out, hence the word modest. If you’re dressed modestly that means you aren’t as easily noticed. So it is easy to decide that most people aren’t tznius in CH but that’s only b/c they aren’t being modest…!
There are lots of beautifully dressed tznius women in CH. If you would only look for them, you would realize there are plenty more than the not so tznius ones…

weather it ends up being her or Mike huckabee or who ever the Republican nominee is we should go full out with our support as they clearly are the better choice enough of the Jewish comunnity supporting democrats 70% we need to flip the numbers
