Chabad/Canadian Friends of Cuban Jewry held a fundraising event in Toronto recently, featuring Cuban cigars, a scotch and wine bar and a glatt kosher barbeque dinner.
The event took place in the exquisite garden of a CFCJ long time supporter, in one of Toronto’s high-end neighborhoods.
“With wonderful live music playing softly in the background, you couldn’t have set a more relaxing mood to socialize with friends and acquaintances who gathered to support this noble and important cause,” noted Rabbi Shimon Aisenbach, director of the CFCJ.
The evening included live music, a live auction, and a grand raffle for an Ipad.
The event was in recognition and honor of the important work of the Chabad/Canadian Friends of Cuban Jewry (CFCJ). The organization provides humanitarian aid and educational infrastructure to the Cuban Jewish community.
