IF YOU WANT TO WRAP YES WE HAVE MANY CHABAD LUBAVETURES THAT CAN WRAP TEFFILLIN. LOOK NO FAR TO YOUR INNER CITIES, HARLEM, WATTS, COMPTON THEY ALL WALK DOWN THE STREET WITH THERE BOOMBOX PLAYING WRAP MUSIC. THE LYRICS, ARE HILLARIOUS SHOOTING COPS,THERE LYRICS HAVE ALL VIOLENCE IN IT. KEEP RAPPING MUSIC OUT OF CROWN HEIGHTS AS THESE LYRICS HAVE NO INTELLIGENCE IN THEM. I BELIEVE THE REBBE WOULD BE NON-APPROVAL TO SUCH STUPIDITY.
J TOBIAS MUSIC,ASCAP CREATES MUSIC
I think it’s disgusting that you can say such a thing! Jewish Music is amazing!!!!!
why does matis look so OLD?
Somethings wrong?!
Sorry to burst all of your wonderful bubbles but Jewish music is pretty painful to my ears. Not G-d forbid the words, but the voices and tunes. My daughter and I listen to jewish radio, and guess what about 1/4 of the songs are actually songs from the radio, just Jewish words put in. Do you know why? Because all the yidishe songs are the same, and everyone is so bored with them they can’t bare listening to them any longer. These musician singing, are pouring out there neshomos the way they want to! Leave them alone, if you don’t… Read more »
We should show them OUR music not their music in a different dress.
areu single?
oy vey
nation after nation..nana
hey hey yow whilst im enjoying this song i tink of the times of age of long i wondor if this is the way the bt….s of the past embraced a life that would truly last, that their children would go out and to the world they would shout, that we are of the kids who came about through the sound of chassidus to the words of the rebbe from the life of CH that now all seems like a distant past……. they taught us a nigun to our souls it went we lit the candles one week only words… Read more »
matis!,matis!,matis!,matis!,matis!,matis!,matis!,matis!,matis!,matis!,
god help us this is not CHABAD
The rebbe did not let p’gisha daven kabolas shabbos by plag in the summer (I think almost every Chabad house does that) because they should get the genuine chasidisher experience. That is why the BTs from those days are real chasidim today.
hey is that u reb new ?? with those glasses?
Good point.
Why shouldn’t they be exposed to both?
Hershel Moss
they dont need to come here for this, they have it there!!!!!
I was at his Chabad Loft show, amazing to see how versatile he is, from the acoustic shows to the rocking!
Nosson zand and mattis are both full baalei teshuva using their talents to elevate to kedusha.. I met nosson before he was frum and he left a solid impression on me back then.
Dont knock guys, back in the day piamenta was “wild”and the rebbe supported them
Its called meeting people where they are at, very effective in education.
go MC AND ND!!!
go bentzy sasson
u r a framer shut up brother
Great guy but please leave the singing for someone else.
I also want to add:
This IS what WE have to offer.
For THOSE (NOT us) with such a background…
they NEED to realize that what they have done so far…
is all part of the Divine Plan.
They NEED to realize that they are NOT so far off.
They need to harness their skills and potential and
use them in a holy way.
WE can foster that realization.
Hershel Moss
We are showing them that you can be you!
Hershel Moss
you hit it on the buttin
What we have is, unfortunatly, not very good music. All the music sounds the same. Maybe for old time folk its appealing, but it’s ear splitting to most youth in this generation. Don’t be so afraid of the new. Just because it doesn’t sound like what your used to does not equate bad.
Baruch Hashem we have people like Nosson and Matisyahu who bring strong and powerful Jewish messages to this generation
very sincere, great stage presence wihtout all the fluff
i agree with #3
why not have our musicians and expose them to our music?
the students came here to experience chabad.
If lehavdil they went to another country/culture, they would expect to hear the music from there- not music from USA,
so what is the point? Where is our pride?
They do not need this type of music to be drawn to us in CH.
what concerts are played out of CH- when you are trying to draw the students to an event which will hopefully lead to more, is something else entirely, and needs another discussion
def potential in the distant future, maybe.
Where can I get his music?
Were there also old people in the crowd?
do they realy need to come to crown heights to hear/see this? they have it where they come from.
why not show them what WE have to offer? are we afraid that what we have is not as good as what they have?
no i am not a farmer. but this is way to far.
He’s an inspiration.
World’s greatest Jewish Hip Hop Superstar. Big ups to Matisyahu for supporting Nosson and coming out for COC.
