Large amounts of food and drink for those who fasted on Yom Kippur at 770 Eastern Parkway were once again supplied by Nochum Markowitz who rallied donors for the cause. It was preceded by Kiddush Levana. Photos

thats a lot of food there
nochum markowitz is a Tzaddik
the pictures and even more so the comments!!!
Did you fast this year?
you obviosly havnt learnt it
this is what makes 770 the place it is and that is why so many ppl come to ch to live this! leave it as it is! is an experience for life and moments everyone will remember! a story to tell their kids! do u want it more organized? go give a hand on it next year. thanks so much to the ppl organizing this. i once had something to eat after yom kipur when i was a bocher many years ago.
your right.
Enjoyed the ACHvah cake??????????
there are many american orchim as well
thank you
dubi!!!!!!!!!!
thanx for the food reb. N.M!!!!!!!!!
Shame that Yom Kippur is a whole year
away!!! It is more shocking to read
some of these comments about a
beautiful thing that is completely
selfless, than to see pics of pple
” grabbing” the food !!
And for all the holier than thou
out there – The Rebbe
approved !!!!
strawberry milk psshhh…..
Come On….. are you the police man here. should i start investigating for every bad little thing that you do.
not everyone is perfect like you!
very nice of him to provide food – yes, the place looks like a madhouse, and a total mess, but hey – pple are hungry ya know! and each and every person who benefited im sure is extremely grateful that they had what to break the fast on so quickly!
i have just one question – why is the milk pink?
Thank you Reb Nochum Markowitz.
Markowitz brings 3 and sometimes more trucks full of fleish, sish, mezonos and drink for shmini atzeres simchas torah… appraoch him and me mishtatef in the mitzva
I really applaud whoever organized and sponsored the food, it was def appreciated I am sure by the people there, ( I didnt break my fast there) however I was taught that the way one breaks their fast is just as imp as the actual fastiing the whole Yom Kippur.
And seeing the pigsty of a mess around 770 after the fast tells me alot of peoples fasting was for nothing.
they should make an orderly line it should not be survival of the fittest and there should be a little derech eretz for the people a little older than bochurim even though everyone is starving and its after a fast bochurim should still respect their elders its just food
look how many american bochorim there are!!
that is not a statement it is a question
why zayin?
All you ppl criticizing how they’re grabbing etc I bet you are sitting in your comfortable homes eating all you want very nice but think of these poor hungry orchim and give them a break
yes IT IS TRUE, Rabbi Markowitz nice mitzva aval where is the halacha to complete davening and washing negel vaser… VERY SIMPLE GIVE MORE TIME AFTER MAARIV, EXTRA 1/2HOUR IN LINE, MORE MESSUDAR. just a suggestion!!!
its hershy shputz
I am always touched by the generosity of the people providing all those wonderful things for the kahal , however to the person who posts the pictures . There was no need to put pictures of people grabbing food , not very dignified , definitely takes away from the beauty of the event .
Gmar chasima tova to all
looks like the haitian food crisis
wroooooooooong perek vov
…aaaaaaaah Thars Dubi…
(CGI Loves u man)
Thank you nachum for your hard work!!
Great job to all those who participated, organized and sponsored this cause.
Trying to understand y a good word can’t
be said , especially when something
Good is in ur face!!… On Motzei Yom Kippur no less!!!!!
im going to say a hypocritical statement
y is everyone criticizing?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11′
thank you i would not of made it home without you good job
Why does there always have to be a “bash and Grab” for the food? People should try to be more orderly!!!
why doesn’t anyone teach them dinim? havdoloh and kiddush levona is correct, but negel vasser comes first! when we were going home after maariv we stopped some ‘kids’ who were eating outside 770, and asked them if they washed negel vasser, and they said “no”.
seriously cant u guys calm down
