Chabad of Bangalore, India, led by Shluchim Tzvi and Noa Rivkin, welcomed many people for prayer services this Yom Kippur.
Known as the ‘Electronic City,’ due to the many companies with local branches such as Google and Amazon, Bangalore’s shluchim are in contact with the many Westerners who visit and live in the city.
The shluchim were assisted by bochurim Tzali Wilschanski and Yisroel Karasik in running Kapparot services, davening and visiting people in their homes.
“We had two people here for prayers who have not been to Shul on Yom Kippur in 20 years,” said Rabbi Rivkin. “A big Yasher Koach goes to the two Bochurim for doing Mivtza Teffilin and Bikur Bayis, and making this Yom Kippur the first one where we had a minyan throughout all the Teffilos.”
Rabbi Rivkin also thanked Thailand’s head Shliach Rabbi Yosef Kantor, for making all this possible.
