the people with the signs aren’t real chabadniks.
they’re just people who don’t want us to do kaporos with chickens. you could tell they’re not chabadniks. one lady even has a shirt that’s squared off, in a way that it’s showing her chest. no chabadnik would do that.

now I see why the CH chickens were so cheap they use mini-chickens! in CA we had gezunte zaftig chickens. I guess the CH population have fewer aveiros so they don’t need regular sized chickens..

i only did kaporos one in my life with chickens when there was a shochet. all the rest of the times i did it with money
i dont want to be part of this but most of the pics people were holding the chiken only by the wings you NEED TO give them support from the feet aswell because there is a big chance to brake the chickens wing rendering it treif even ask a sochet
The activist there were not from peta and not against shechita but the schloging and treatment of chicks there!
When I was a child we did Kapores on money. It never felt the same spiritual meaning as it does doing it on a chicken, as is the custom. How sad you don’t have the same spirituality & how even sadder it is that you care more for G-d’s feathered creatures than you do for His human ones.
