I Rabbi Hecht …I was חושד בכשרים

Many and I included, thought of you, as being of the school, “my way or no way”, we were wrong.

You gained my respect (not that you needed it).

Chanina and you can bring together the majority of Anash, therefore making this Vaad relevant and successful.

The forces of evil (may Hashem help us) are working overtime. But we were thought “a little light” and you know the end of the story.

Ksiva Vacasima Tova.

What a נחת and what עגמת נפש
September 15, 2010 7:22 pm

What a נחת to see two individuals, Rabbis Sperlin and Hecht, who weren’t seeing eye to eye, come together and work together……

And what עגמת נפש to see individuals having nervous breakdowns and unable to swallow this….

Acdus will reign in Crown Heights, in spit of the רודפי שלום

we should not be endorsing Democrats who are just yes men to Obama and his politics. i know she is good for Israel but overall the less Democrats there are in Congress the better off this country and our ECONOMY wil be! we need Senators that have ideas that will create jobs not the opposite!

Wow u seem one sided, both hecht and sperlin lost the election we all agree, but the current vaad members who won, dont have much political connection, so as a favor hecht and sperlin united, are working with them to help the vaad and the crown heights coummunity

Why are you asking why Shea Hecht is there? Why are you not asking about Chanina Sperlin too, he was also not voted in!!!!
By the way to just give you this information in case you forgot but Rabbi Shea did get more votes than Chanina Sperlin!! You should do your research first.

why only the last second

i didnt vote yesterday cuz i didnt see any pac notice, tell us who to vote for a few days before. this way we have a chance to see it

Not enough votes
September 15, 2010 2:36 am

We don’t have enough votes in any district to field a candidate from Anash. Remember how many of us go on shlichus, thereby keeping CH relatively small, and where we are located – we are not in the same districts as Boro Park, Flatbush or Williamsburgh so we are on our own politically.

43’rd is now to Utica in most places. They should get this straight!

Please tell me
September 14, 2010 8:12 pm

What did we get from all the politicians that were endorsed by our community, I’m not saying that we didn’t get anything, I’m just asking.

To the Vaad

You are going in the right diraction. Please do not be distracted by the NAY SAYERS.

Both, Rabbis Sperlin and Hecht have a lot to add to the mix.

HEY COMMENT NUMBER SIX.

Credit goes to the close friends of the Vaad and close friends of Rabbi Hecht and Rabbi Sperlin.

They all have confidants and friends……They are getting good sound advice….Keep it up.

Did not vote for them, but now I regret it.
September 14, 2010 6:00 pm

Seeing both Reb Chanina and Reb Shea in their true unbiased colors I regret not voting for either.

THERE IS ALWAYS A NEXT TIME.

Strange Bedfellows
September 14, 2010 5:58 pm

Shea and Channina!??
Better suited to a comedy act

Thank you COLLIVE.

Your site fills the vacume, for positive and gratifying news. Leave the dirt to others (from both sides…)

It seems that you do not get the hint…..

Reb Chanina is a great asset to our Shchuna, the Vaad sees this and many many see this. it is to his credit that he is willing to answer to the call of our Vaad.

It is also to the credit of Reb Shea Hecht, putting differences aside for the betterment of all.

Chanina should run
September 14, 2010 5:29 pm

He should run by the city council next time around and let our people be directly in government.

cool

September 14, 2010 4:41 pm

I want to vote, just don’t know where to go.

great how exciting
September 14, 2010 4:09 pm

we dont elect chanina and now we get him with all the politicians

why did we have elections

he didint get the hint

Where is Our candidate?
September 14, 2010 4:06 pm

Why must we always vote for a African American Democrat? Why can’t a Chabadnik run?

Zaki is the Leader or?
September 14, 2010 4:04 pm

I just hope that Zaki is always in the center of the picture and not Sperling and Hecht. We must always make sure we know who WE elected get the main say, and the main Kavode.

i agree with number 2
September 14, 2010 3:49 pm

AND is this more of the sleepy entitlement syndrome that is bankrupting our communities

are we selling ourselves?
September 14, 2010 3:27 pm

I would like to know the stance of the endorsed candidates regarding the inmoral laws that are currently being proposed and are considered a to’eva by the Torah.
No matter how much money the may funnel to the community, supporting a candidate who will vote for a rule that runs contratry to Hashem’s will is in itself inmoral.

nice...
