Over the past decades the Pesukim of Ato Horaisa on Simchas Torah at night in 770 are sold to benefit the United Lubavitcher Yeshiva (Tomchei Temimim – ULY) of Ocean Parkway.
The first Ato Horaisa is saved for the Rebbe, but the subsequent Ato Horaisas, only the first and last Posuk are given to the Rebbe.
Many people have requested special blessings (health, Shidduchim, prosperity etc.) as they purchased one of these pesukim. The minimum for a Posuk for the Rebbe is $1,800, although some have paid $770.00 to share a Posuk; the more paid, the greater the blessing.
Your pledge can be paid out over the course of the year, by check or credit card.
The other Pesukim can also be purchased and you may honor someone or take it for yourself. They start at $180.
The last portion Vehaya Zaracha people join together in multiples of $28.
Please send in your request via email to [email protected], specify your amount, the Posuk you would like, or whom you would like to honor.
If you have any special requests you would like to put forth you can write that as well.
You may also send checks and information to our main office 841-853 Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11230 att: Ato Horaisa
The Rebbe Rayatz was called up to the Torah every Simchas Torah, and there was a place set for him at the seder upstairs in 770 at the request of the Rebbe. Also Rav Yehudah Hanassi made kiddush every Friday night and was Motzei his family even after his Histalkus.
Eliyohu HaNavi hasnt been called up to the Torah since he went up to Shamayim on a pillar of fire. So…….Yea. Halacha Lamisa is you are no Posek. Yechi btw.
Are you confused as how Eliyohu Hanave comes to the seder on Pesach, or maybe he doesn’t come to your seder either. If you give your name you could be a candidate for the greatest apikoras… ( See above)
28 is Gematria Yechi. When you need money Yechi seems to be acceptable to all.
how does the rebbe say the bracha
