Such a Special man
September 13, 2010 1:40 pm

The first thing I thought when I read this was that he taught me Alef Bais as well as thousands of other children in London too!

What a profound loss
September 13, 2010 11:38 am

Rabbi Shtrocks was not just THE Alef Beis teacher to thousands of children throughout the years, but he genuinely cared about a fellow Yid. He was the one who spent time with the less fortunate. He was also a GREAT Baal Tefillah. He was a truly special man, with a special heart and a special Neshomoh.

BD”E! I had the privilege amongst hundreds of others to be taught alef beis by Rabbi Schtrocks. He taught using the real old fashioned mesorah – and we all learned how to read – to truly read fluently!
he will be missed
