If if if….
But we don’t, and IF we would and others would protest I would not defend it, I would say that it has to be done in a park, like I suggest that this celebration should be, and not crippling people who have to go to work.

Our country was founded on principles, while the majority rules they must respect the minority, this parade is a complete violation of that principle.

And if we were to (halavai) bring enough people to crown heights to shut down most of parkway, then you’d have a problem with the Lag B’Omer parade.

In any event, your argument is moot – as my point was that the same LAWs that let’s us make a parade, lets them – irregardless of numbers . . .

On Lag Baomer we close off 2 streets, not a whole community, see the difference?
Yesterday was a traffic nightmare in CH, it was like we were held captive inside.

Funny how when we use the same laws for our own needs, like say making a Lag B’omer parade, you have no problem . . .

It took me a half hour to get out of CH today!
I don’t understand why this is legal in the U.S. today, because some people want to have a good time therefore they close of all the street so those in the minority who want to work, can’t?

Why the police?

you are 100% correct about the cleaning on eastern parkway its 3 times a week and its on shabbos!!! and nobody says anything!! most of brookly have it once a week, less cleaning will only mean less tickets.

Dear CHJCC and vaad members who are doing so much for the comunity.

There are 2 major things if you can take care of with your connections. 1) get rid of labor day parade in Crown heights. let them do it in Manhattan, but if you cant do that at least let the police take a chill and let people know they can park blocking the pumps and a little into the cross walk. I had to circle for 1 1/2 hours and found nothing. are we supposed to sleep in the cars so we don’t get a $115 ??? and 2nd thing is fix up the cleaning schedule. we have cleaning so… Read more »
