RBCA is the best skewl eva… !!!
mozel tov crown hights school, its so sad bais rivkah did not win they nedded the money
It would have been a great strategy for someone who didn’t like Chabad to add improper votes to their mix and then allege that some of the votes were not legit….
GO HEBREW ACADEMY!!! BEST SCHOOL EVER!!!
Yasher koach for harnessing the energy of the entire city to vote for Yeshiva!! Four universities sent official letters to all of their students telling them to vote!! And a great interview on the radio with Jim Polito’s talk show, there were probably tons of votes from his listeners!!
Relax it’s all good, have a L’chaim, the KGB has already gone to sleep for the night.

Ksiva V’chasima Tova
mendel you had the same shirt in camp
Well well. Look at sinas chinom rearing its ugly head. When you are finished slandering others in your jealosy perhaps consider taking an open minded look at those two schools you mentioned. May your own children never need the care and compassion of the dedicated staff at JETS (Jewish Educational Trade School) which provides high school boys with a second chance & keeps them off the streets. As for Netaneli, may I bless you as well not to have to appreciate the the services of a school which provides Jewish education for those who financialy cannot pay 15k per child… Read more »

Rabbi simpson, if you are zoiche to read this, i want you to know that even facebook rachmoneh litzlan, could turn out for the good.
yay, now i can cancel facebook!
hey mendel goldman
I think the biggest thing you guys did for PR was organising last Sundays walkathon, where you had over 30 people going door to door getting votes at over 1000 homes in the federation neighberhood!!!!
The kiddush hashem u guys made was unbelievable,on the radio,tv ,newspaper, the Mayor and lt govenor voting the 4 colleges sending out official letters asking their students to vote for the neighbor, and then on talk radio thursday friday wow wow worcester!!!
Was this open to all schools in the US?
If so how could it be that 11 are Chabad?
to #101 theirs a g-d and a torah that we live by and we have to live in the torah BOX
welcome to wister dude!
GO BCM LA AND CHEDER MENACHEM U GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! SO HAPPY U WON! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! 🙂
Thank you Lipsker’s, Wuensch’s, Kornfeld’s, Mayberg’s and Dauer’s! You guys are the BEST!

MAZAL TOV! MAZAL TOV!
M
GO BAIS CHAYA MUSHKA !!!!!!!
u guys rock!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You everybody who worked so hard!!!!! I dont know ur names personally but they couldnt have won without u. THANKS!!!!
people were in touch with Kohls before they slaved for this campaign. Single Gender schools are not a problem as long as they have a sister school in the same area to accomodate applicants in the area. Computer generated votes are a problem in every way shape and form as stated in the official guidlines. Schools who engaged in this practice just may fall below 20 once those 1,000s of are disqualified. 10s of 1000s is probably more accurate. If they don’t try to fight Kohls they could avoid the chilul hashem we all fear.
YOU WORKED FOR IT, AND NOW U DESERVE IT!!!
MAZAL TOV MAZAL TOV!!!
THANK YOU, RABBI RABIN, DL MARGOLIS, AND THE REST OF THE STAFF FROM THE SCHOOLS!!!
lol who ever posted about florida team were doing ana maizing job they were right!! we worked until minutes before shabbas and rabbi rabin and DL deserve a huge yasher koach!!!! i personally had a crazy amazing time!!!! and everyone needs to stop talking about this stupid cheating thing. bottom line is. that lubavitch DID CHEAT! lubavatich came to fraud to win the money. thats the simple facts and i know because i heard from my own ears what they did and HOW THEY DID IT! OK SO JUST GET OVER IT AND ITS A HUGE EMMBARSSMENT EVERY SCHOOL THAT… Read more »
“ashamed to be a Lubavitcher”
Are you a Lubavitcher? Chassidim give their fellow yidden benefit of the doubt…
Are you a lawyer for Kohls? Are you privy to information we are not? Are you certain 9 of the 11 schools knowingly broke rules?
You are ashamed to be a Lubavitcher, well I agree, if that’s what a Lubavitcher nowadays is…
Keep the negativity in your mind and maybe it’ll turn into positivity over time…
go rohr bais chaya academy and hebrew academy margate!!!!!!!!!!
If a yeshiva has to resort to fraud to continue, then something is seriously wrong. If this turns out to be fraud, I truly fear for Lubavitch. The soinim will be all over us, and this time they will have real information instead of just joining the bandwagon of losers who strike out at anyone that succeeds against the odds as Chabad often does.
GO CHARLOTTE JEWISH DAY SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
to # 75 the school did not promot. end of story it was wrong for lubavitch crown height school to get involved. poor kids playing with their heads
Some of you can never see the forest for the trees/and besides which ever hear the words “pious fools”? This is a chance to keep kids and schools running and you have a problem?Girls worked hard and do not have FC themselves but got people to vote-all over.Think and learn how to look at the big picture!Think out of the box too.H’ gave everyone a brain-it would b nice if people actually used it.
It was hard to get everyone in the ch community to vote. They only joined when it looked like schools were winning. Then you guys are the first to turn on all the winning schools. Please think positively and daven that all the schools will be able to receive the money. Lubavitch needs the money, remember? What are you doing to ensure that Yeshivas keep running???
GO Eli C.! You worked hard we know! It was really nice to see you!
hey whats doing
kid from your bunk
thanx 4 all ur help…. liora l.
that all the votes are legitimate. What a chilul Hashem it would be if the votes are fraudulent. And what a waste of the time and effort of the ones who put so much work into getting REAL votes–if we end up being disqualified because of some cheating. I REALLY HOPE none of that was going on.
go Florida!!!!!
Rabin you pulled it off yasher koach
and of course to Rabbi and Rebbetzin Denburg, this was obvious!!!
Great to see the smiling faces of the Gainseville gang at the top of this page!!!
The gender discrimination thing is not an issue. Even the board of ed money that our schools regularly get is contingent upon no gender discrimination, according to the fine print. If a girl were t apply to ULY, they would accept her in their “sister school” Beth Rivkah, since the two are associated. But fake votes…..that might be an issue.
CONGRATULATIONS to everyone including the Gainsville volunteers-We worked till minutes before Shabbos to get this done!! Persistance and hard work really does pay off!!…I really hope all the Jewish schools get every penny they worked so hard for.I don’t see any reason not to use any type of technology for a good reason, just because that same technology has the potential to be used in a negetive way..Everyone I approached already had a fb account,i didn’t make anyone open an account against their will! Why can’t everyone just be happy with this amazing achievment?!
its a realllllly bad school
Not bad. Of the 11 schools that made it, 2 if that conform to Kohl’s rules. And that assumes those schools had enough legit votes to really be in the running.
I am ashamed to be a Lubavitcher today. Didn’t recent events teach us that breaking the rules does NOT pay?
*The top 20 vote-getting schools and each of their proposed programs are currently being verified to ensure compliance with official contest rules, terms and conditions. Once verified, official winners will be announced.
Wow! They have $500,00 to spend on the 12 students in their school. That will be great.
what a bracha!!!!
Yechi hamelech
Unfortunately, if the rules really are k-12 and no gender discrimination, we will see a huge backlash against Chabad in general for all the voting shenanigans.
While Kohl’s should have checked the schools for that first, we are really going to come off looking very bad if, as I suspect, more than half of our schools are disqualified.
to Yossi Langsam for all his hard work on behalf of ULY Crown Street
The Crown Heights shul
The Lubavitcher schools didn’t give into fb. If u noticed in the pic it seems like they went tocolledges…to get pol who already have fb to vote….
Receda Hills?? Where is that?
Sarah….I knew tht was u as soon as I reD it!!!hahahhh
so many schools give into facweboook…
Jets is not a chabad school (as someone said before, it’s a private enterprise) nor should it qualify since it serves post high school kids. Netan Eli has a grand total of 31 children in their school!.
dear miss number 75. thats life. we make the best of it. hashem handed us a chance to get half a million dollars, using the tools of technology for a good purpose and we did it. if u have a problem with your daughters and there friends i have a suggestion to you. move out of crown heights cuz thats the problem!
I am a Bais Rivkah Mother (we have only girls) however our friends from OT have computer and internet and face book, and many of out OT friends have TV and full access to all kinds of videos. K’siva V’chasimah Tovah
everyone knows that its all Yossi langsam WE ALL KNOW IT
B”H WE DID IT! BAIS CHAYA & HACS REPRESTENTS 7 WEEKS OF HARD WORK DAY AND NIGHT.GIVING UP OUR FAMILIES AND SLEEP..u nly need 2-3 hours of sleep and one meal aday we worked soo hard (speaking from expereince)but it was all worth it in the end!!!!b”h we had an amazing out right bracha from the rebbe!
-frisch,coral springs florida!!
No one asked kids to vote or sign up for facebook, no one likes sour grapes.
great job ULY, thanks to the California Volunteers for keeping ULY in it, Rocky you are my hero!
68 Yagata Umatsasa tamin, the reason OT did not win because they did try just not hard enough, and # 67 i truly hope that your wrong.
Lmala Min Hateva, This is the Rebbes Brocho.
For being a true chasidie shcool. i’m so proud to be an ot mother! i aplaud for NOT compromising on internet usage for money. they could have done the same thing, but they dont allow internet and fb, and they didnt “break rules” b/c the school needs the money. i voted and i have nothing against this thing, but at the same time i c that other local school forgot their rules, and promoted fb usage. now go tell all these families that fb is forbidden. what kind of chinuch r they selling?
My reading of the rules tell me that several Chabad schools will be disqualified. Has to serve K-12, not gender discriminate. And unfortunately, there will be a lots possibly thousands, of illegitimate votes. I hope I’m wrong, but we should wait and see before we celebrate.
Since many people started accounts just to vote, maybe they should start using it to join other jewish pages and causes. That will have a double benefit.
a) Kohls will realize that not only are these accounts backed by real people but they are also active users.
b) the users will gain a lot by making use of the vast amount of torah and chassidus and tzedakah projects that are available on fb.
YAY Cheder Menachem Los Angeles!!! A Great school that really deserves the $!
A special yasher koach must be extended to the volunteers on the west coast who brought it home for Rohr Bais Chaya and ULY as of 9PM Eastern time they were both out of the race. the campaign was spearheaded by Yossi Lipsker of Cheder Menachem and Shmuly Newman of Hebrew academy huntington beach and they made sure all of their volunteers votes those schools instead of their own to bring them back into the top 20!!! without the 3 extra hours on the west coast those schools COULD NOT HAVE WON. Achdus is the key!!! kol Yisroel arevim ze… Read more »
THE TOP JEWISH SCHOOL
Thank you to the whole team at ULY for working so hard for the school. Rabbi Turk, Yossi Langsam, Rabbi Davis, Alyson Feldman, Luba, Chana Goldstock – u guys always go the extra mile
Job well done CHAIM SIMON you woked so hard and it paid off .
We tell our kids especially to stay off of Facebook and other social networks. Some of the schools that “won” this contest, a couple of years ago expelled teenagers for being on it. And now they are advocating everyone to go vote on these very same sites. I know the yeshiva and schools are hard up for money. But they should stick to their principles no matter what the costs. I applaud my kids yeshiva L.E.C of south Florida sticking to this very principle. Perhaps we shouldn’t be so quick to applaud ourselves so much!
CALIFORNIA DOMINATED
give it up for hebrew academy of tampa
they really deserve it
go dubravs!!!
Thank you to Yossi Lipsker and everyone else from the LA community that spent so many hours getting votes!
does anybody know what the terms and conditions are?
not ur opionion of them, but the real text of conditions, im very curious,
Well done Chaim Simon & all the Bochurim who helped in this successful project. You rock !!!!
Sarah!!כל הכבוד!! U guys rly deserved it!!!go margate florida!!!!!!
BH !!!!
when did jets become a chabad school. its a private enterprise it has nothing to do with chabad. but congrats to them anyway
MAZEL TOV WORCESTER!!!!! YOU GIYS DESERVE
THE BEST!!!!!!
some of the schools were in contact with kohls. I spoke to someone in one of the chabad schools who told me several times over the past few weeks about his convos with kohls and friday he told me he had spoken to a non jewish school who had been told by kohls that they shouldnt give up because they were checking out a few schools and planning on disqualifying them and then they would be next on line. Andyes, many of the chabad schools were working together with non jewish schools to get votes. i dont have any schools… Read more »
Maybe Kohls didn’t say anything of the sort, but it’s true that they are having a team of lawyers fine-combing the winners for the next two weeks, to find fake or multiple facebook pages, and they will deduct those votes. Whether or not the fake votes come from Chabad schools is up to them to decide. (And Chabad doesn’t usually have quotation marks around it…)
Even though I don’t go there anymore, they still deserve the $500,000. M.Rak
Verifying means making sure votes are valid (like if a lot of votes show IP addresses from out of the US they may disqualify them), making sure the schools non-profit status is in proper order, making sure there is an actual school behind the name, and not just an organization with a defunct Talmud Torah program, and of course making sure there was no manipulation of the voting, such as paying people to vote (it is against their official rules). Don’t assume anyone did anything illegal or wrong. They are also going to be carefully examinng each school’s plan, and… Read more »
so happy to hear the good news! i am interested in hearing how many students each school has. i am under the impression that some schools have about 50 students- if that is true, an extra huge kudos to them for getting all these votes! it goes to show, that dedication does pay!
b’h for the hard work the community put in to win
great fiction. Kohls didn’t tell anybody anything. What lawyer would let them say anything like that. Just some sore losers making up stories.
how do u know what fake is? from experience?
they are geting UP to 500.000 and then ther is all other rules GGOD LUCK to all
so your saying a non jewish school was told by kohls and then the non jewish school told you.So you are working with the non jewish school to get a jewish school disqualified?
there are official rules of how the money can be spent,
I dont think paying staff is allowed….
wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bcm rox(bais rebbeto)roxxx
Even though I am also holding in my celebration until its official
it could be that they already knock some votes from the Chabad schools and have no reason to take away more because there has to be a reason for the way the top 5 ended up being only non Jewish schools the 5 hr of Shabbos wasn;t enogh time to pus hthem so high
mazal tov lubavitch yeshiva crownstreet!!! i voteed for you!!!!!!!!!!!1
On the bottom of the page it says that the schools are being verified to ensure compliance with official rules…..
Kohls told a non jewish school that was out of the top 20 the entire friday that they had nothing to worry about because they were planning on disqualifying some schools and would push them in.
At least one of the schools had entire pages of fake accounts voting for them so let’s wait for the official announcement.
MAZEL TOV!!!!!!!
THEY WERE WELL DESERVING OF IT!!!!
congrats to all the other chabad schools!!!
BH!
But it does say on the official page that the official winners will be notified only after going through a verification process, so continue davening 🙂
kudos and thanks to Yossi Langsam for all his devotion and hard work. You’re the best
wow, that’s more than half of the winners! yasher koach to the greater chabad community on working together to pull this off!
Big yasher koach to Rabbi Shmuli TUrk who worked on getting ULY to the top 20 and keeping them in the top 20! your hard work and devotion was successful! without you there would be no winner
don’t forget yossi langsam, who hasn’t slept in the past month to make sure uly stayed in the top 20.
Mazal Tov to the young men who worked the street’s day and night !
I am not sure people realize how big an achievement this was, in 2007-8 there were 33,740 private schools in the USA.
http://www.capenet.org/facts.html
Davis did a whole lot….but dont forget Shmully Turk he worked night and day to pull it off
yay!!!
