Dear Members of the Community,
As we enter the Yomim Noraim we hope you will use this opportunity to reach out to a young member of our community who is in need of your help.
There is a young shliach who was recently diagnosed with a severe life threatening illness. He and his family are doing everything in their power to help him, bezh”y, come to a complete recovery. As you can well imagine, the treatments, illness, stress and worry are an unbearable load for a young couple.
Boruch Hashem he is able to receive the best possible medical care which is being covered to an extent by insurance. However even after all of the insurance payments etc, there are many outstanding bills that are slowly piling up, adding a whole new pressure on an already stressful situation.
At present, the cost of his medical and living expenses, etc. is $15,000 a month – a pressure which he cannot carry alone and we are looking to help cover. This will alleviate the hardship of the situation and allow him to focus on getting better, with Hashem’s help.
We are looking for commitments of any kind, either one-time or over 6 months.
If you are going to be giving Maaser before Yom Tov, or on a monthly basis, perhaps this is something you would consider.
Benjy Stock from the CSSY has undertaken to accept funds in a separate independent account for his care and recovery. If you would like to discuss this directly with Benji you can call him at 718.774.5270

May He have all the borchos and A quick speedy recovery.
may we only hear good news!
Post a tehillim list on the site if you don’t have one already and post his name/mother’s name without any kesher to this article.
may you get a full recovery soon and may g-d bless them with all the money they need and a sweet and happy healthy year
the family obviously doesnt want to post the name for a reason so if u r so sincere about saying tehilim take a moment and email the adress as stated in comment number three. if ur not sincere enough but just asking the name you can continue on it wont bother you and read col
yes – all donations are tax deductible
what is the medical condition he has?
I’ve never understood keeping such information and or names confidential. The “sechel she’be’davar” still escapes me. If anything, offering the name will do a lot more good than the so callled damage. I wish somebody would offer some sensibility here.
you are right,we can still say tehillim eventhough we don’t know his name!!
If you really want to help then send a donation….if you feel that you’re only way to help is by saying tehillim then do that, something tells me that your Tehillim is not any less helpful if you don’t have the exact name.
if it’s so important that you have a name when the family doesn’t want to share it then think about what you really want, a good story…then continue to read the rest of col and don’t make this shiliach your entertainment
the name is not for gossip purposes,G-d forbid.Simply his first name to say tehilim
If the family wanted his name to be publicized they would have posted his name. Do you really need to know his name for…or are you just interested in the latest..!???!!
Wouldnt it be nice instead of only asking for money but also how we can say tehilim?i see this is the same thing happening over and over,Rubashkin, ezagui and many others.Hashem must be wondering why his people are only thinking about putting a paypal link and not a prayer link. This is just anobservation i have noted over the last couple of years.May hashem give him a speedy recovery.
It is not possible to for the Hebrew name to be posted, because his personal situation will become public knowledge. If someone would like to the name to daaven, they can contact Benji Stock and make a donation.
Please email [email protected] if you would like any details for tehilim etc
we need his name for tehillim!!
Is it possible to have his name (without surnames) so that we can all say tehillim for him also??
Please keep us posted as to how he is. . we should hear Besuros Toivos NOW and he should have a complete and total Refuah
