The new school year at Mesivta Menachem of Buffalo is set to begin Tuesday, August 31, but it’s never too late to recruit more students.
The small school located in Amherst, NY, which prides itself on the personal attention its staff gives students, is holding an open house Friday, August 13.
“We wanted parents and bochurim to be able to meet the Rosh Yeshiva first-hand,” the director Rabbi Yisroel Meir Munitz said about his father Rabbi Yosef Munitz.
Rabbi Yosef Munitz opened the Mesivta some 12 years ago after 30 years of working as a Shliach and educator. “He has lost none of his enthusiasm and warmth,” the staff say.
With Niagara Falls just 20 minutes away, the school is seen as a Yeshiva that blends learning and Chassidushkeit with a modern dormitory and nearby parks.
“The open house is also for them to discuss how we can help them reach their goals in the coming year,” added Yisroel Meir Munitz, who is also a Magid Shiur in the Mesivta.
The open house will take place Friday, Elul 3 at the Brod residence, 427 Kingston Ave., between Empire and Montgomery from 12pm-4pm.
The $250 registration fee will be waived at this event, the Mesivta said. Can’t make it in person? Register by phone (716-568-0121) by Sunday August 15th and the fee will still be waived.

amazing yeshiva
Incredible! See it at http://www.mesivtamenachem.com
The Mesivta is named in honor of the Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach.
The Mesivta is dedicated to educating our bochurim in Torah & Mitzvos, instilling within them a sense of hiskashrus as they grow to be true chayolim in the Rebbe’s army.
May we merit the immediate Geulah, when the Rebbe will lead us out of galus.
