I remember one Farbrengen (late 60’s or early 70’s) when someone announced in front of the Rebbe that he did something that he learned from his two teachers Rabbis Avrohom & Jay Jay Hecht, so the Rebbe followed up by announcing; where is Rabbi Avrohom & Jay Jay Hecht? Let them say Lchaim!

hi chayus, his eyes, his stature are attributes of r. hecht that remain engrained in my mind. camp emunah jsut isn’t the same anymore 🙁
